Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

What Vakari is, who it's for, and how the connected data model and propose-and-confirm AI actually work.

What is Vakari?

Vakari is connected finance operations on one data model — spanning procurement, accounts payable, and the accounting close, so the same record moves through every stage instead of being reconciled across disconnected systems. The platform is built to cover all company spend: direct and indirect spend, plus the expense side of T&E — one connected record from the first request to the final posting.

What does Vakari do?

Vakari eliminates the disconnect tax — the manual work finance teams spend reconciling data across procurement, AP, and accounting tools that were never built to share a data model. It is an AI-native platform, born with AI as its backbone rather than bolted on later, so the work between systems isn't just tracked — it's done. AI proposes the entry, the match, the accrual; your team confirms. That AI-native foundation is also what sets Vakari apart from tools built before AI and retrofitted with it.

Which ERPs does Vakari work with?

Vakari works with SAP, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central today. We add integrations with intentionality, not breadth for its own sake. Don't see your ERP? Contact us.

Who is Vakari for?

Vakari is built for companies running SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Business Central — from roughly $10M to $5B in revenue — where the Office of the CFO is carrying the disconnect tax across procurement, AP, and the close. It's designed for finance teams that have hit the wall on adding point tools and headcount.

How is Vakari different from Coupa, BlackLine, or Tipalti?

Those tools each own one square — procurement, the close, or AP — on their own data model, so the work between them lands on your finance team. Vakari is one connected record across all three: procurement, AP, and the close on the same data layer, built AI-native from the start. The reconciliation between systems doesn't get automated — it stops existing, because the data never diverges.

Does Vakari's AI act on its own?

By default, AI proposes and humans confirm — every action arrives as a proposal a person approves before anything posts, pays, or closes, with full provenance for the auditor. Where a customer wants it, Vakari can also take defined actions autonomously — configured deliberately, scoped to the outcomes you choose, and always traceable. You decide how much autonomy fits your controls.

Is Vakari secure and audit-ready?

Vakari is built to be audit-grade by default: every action carries its provenance back to the source, so the trail is a byproduct of how the work is done, not something assembled at quarter-end. We are targeting SOC 2 readiness in Q4 2026.
